Making customers happy and at ease

The Meihan Plant was established in 1988 and began with the mass production of inserts, a gas turbine component for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Since then, we have continued to manufacture a wide variety of products, including molds for cars, oil pans and tanks for agricultural machinery, frames for tractor cabin sections, and parts for ships. We are engaged in our daily operations with confidence and pride in our high level of technology and experience, which are unmatched by any other company.
With our philosophy of “making our customers happy and giving them peace of mind,” we have been highly evaluated by many major companies for our achievements in making proposals that lead to improvements in cost and quality.

A wide variety of equipment and advanced processing technology

We have a full range of relatively large equipment, including TIG welding robot machines, custom-made semi-automatic robot welding machines that can set a maximum load of 3 tons, 3,000-ton hydraulic press machines, 5-axis laser processing machines, 5-axis lathe processing machines, and portal machining centers, enabling us to meet a wide range of customer requirements.
In addition, press forming of complex shapes using heat-resistant steel, TIG welding of 0.5 mm thin plates, and precision machining at 1/100 are possible in hole drilling using 5-axis laser equipment. The plant combines know-how and a wide range of technical capabilities cultivated over its long history.

Working as one to strengthen the organization

Meihan plants currently range from one to eight, and are basically operated in the style of one dedicated plant for one customer. We have a large number of welders, mold makers, machine operators, and other staff with a great deal of knowledge and skills, each of whom is responsible and ambitious to improve their proficiency on a daily basis and to strengthen our organization.
In addition, our factory has a “Die & Mold Department” that can handle the entire process from the creation of dies for press molding to the completion of finished products, enabling us to achieve shorter lead times than other companies. Furthermore, the introduction of the “TECHS” production management system has further improved productivity.
