Features of the Factory

State-of-the-art processing technology

The Kita-Osaka Factory performs precision microfabrication of surfaces using the fluorolithography and sandblasting methods on materials supplied by major Japanese ceramics manufacturers.
The factory specializes in fine multi-stage pinning of ultra-hard materials and precision machining of large ceramics using the sandblasting method, and is capable of fine pinning of a minimum pin diameter of φ0.13 mm, fine grooving of a slit width of 0.07 mm, pinning of SiC materials with a maximum base material size of 1,350 mm square, and other fine processing for various ceramic materials. It is possible to perform fine grooving on various ceramic materials. Depending on the material and the amount of processing, the accuracy of ±0.001mm can be achieved. We are proud of our cutting-edge processing technology.

Well-equipped environment and staff

We have two clean floors equipped with photolithography equipment and 10 units of equipment mainly for microfabrication of fine ceramics for semiconductors.
We also have an image inspection system that can detect defects in tens of thousands of transferred fine patterns using our original inspection equipment. We also utilize various inspection devices to prevent defects from occurring, such as a device that can check the adhesion of masks attached to base materials prior to processing.
In addition to the full range of equipment, each staff member is equipped with the ability to meet the demands of extremely difficult processing and delivery deadlines. Since the company's establishment, we have not experienced a single delivery delay. Furthermore, each member of the staff continues to work enthusiastically to acquire new technologies.

Applying the technology cultivated in microfabrication to other areas

The precision polishing technology for semiconductor and LCD manufacturing equipment that our factory has refined has earned us a high reputation both in Japan and overseas. Our fine vacuum chuck processing technology is a testament to our technological prowess.
In addition, we can also provide processing of stone, glass, mirrors, and metal by using the technology we have cultivated in microfabrication of ceramics for semiconductor manufacturing equipment to add designs by engraving with loose abrasives after transferring patterns of letters and designs using photolithography.
