Outstanding technical skills in nut making

The Sakurai Factory mainly manufactures nuts for automobiles such as flange nuts, hexagonal nuts, square nuts, lock nuts, castle nuts, and hub nuts.
The company's great strength is its technological expertise in traditional nut manufacturing, which has been built up over more than half a century of history. The company uses a wide variety of methods, including cold heading, hot heading, pressing, and total cutting, to produce high-precision products with seat angles of 0.05 or less perpendicular to the screw.The company owns a total of 12 NC lathe machines and has many older machines, including automatic nut machines and single function machines, but its outstanding technology enables it to achieve production capabilities that are as good as those of the latest equipment. We have a total of 12 NC lathe machines.

Extensive Responsiveness and Quality Control

We accept a wide range of requests from small-quantity production to mass production of over 3 million pieces per month. For small-quantity production, we offer quick delivery by cutting from bar stock, and for larger quantities, we also offer products that use cutting from hot heading to shorten production time. We support make-to-order, kanban, and informal production.
For quality control, we use image inspection equipment, roller sorting machines, and visual inspections of all products to ensure zero defects. Our factory delivers products to a major Tier 1 automotive manufacturer (primary contractor), and we are committed to manufacturing safe products that meet strict quality and delivery requirements.

Organizational development in anticipation of generational change

The Sakurai Factory is actively hiring new graduates and building an organization that anticipates generational change. We are also focusing on employee training, improving technical capabilities, and passing on accumulated technologies.
Furthermore, as part of our efforts to become carbon neutral, we hold study sessions within the group and aim to reduce energy consumption by improving processes to shorten cycle time and stabilize production.
